We are located in a small pathway with a few shops just off of East Palmetto Park Road.

From A1A, take Palmetto to NE Mizner Boulevard.  Turn right, then left on East Boca Raton Road.  There will be a parking lot on your left before you reach Sanborn Square.  Park here and walk down the alleyway - we will be just inside on your right!

From Federal, take Palmetto to NE Mizner Boulevard.  Turn left, then left on East Boca Raton Road.  There will be a parking lot on your left before you reach Sanborn Square.  Park here and walk down the alleyway - we will be just inside on your right!

If you are instead able to find parking on Palmetto, look for the Palm Lounge and go down the alleyway to the right.  We will be about halfway down on your left!

Why letterpress? An introduction to our specialty

Why do we love letterpress?  So glad you asked! Letterpress is, in our opinion, the most luxurious artisanal printing method, offering a textural and extremely sophisticated look.  It is a relief printing method, where the raised surface of a metal or polymer plate is inked and then hand-pressed - not onto, but into - a thick sheet of cotton or bamboo paper, leaving rich color and a deep impression. Letterpress cards will make a serious impression (ha!) on anyone you send them to.  Check. This. Out.

While letterpress is the oldest type of printing, dating back to the 15th century where letters were set in place by hand, modern innovations have made the possibilities with the printing method almost endless.  At The Windmill, we specialize in letterpress printing.  We carry six of the top custom letterpress stationery lines in the country, and most of our preprinted products are letterpress as well.

Happy Saturday!  Today we are working on some last minute ordering to get ready for our grand opening (stay tuned for the announcement coming this week!).  We thought it would be the perfect time to share our beautiful new eco-friendly cards from Fine Day Press - and these gorgeous 3-packs of foil-stamped jotters may just be our favorite product in stock!

We are so thrilled to introduce Fig. 2 cards at The Windmill!  Featuring neon letterpress or gorgeous black and gold calligraphy, these cards are modern, bold, and fun.  We hope you love them as much as we do!

Sneak peak of the store!

Lots of exciting updates today... starting with our brand new business cards!  We love the stunning black letterpress, luxurious double-thick cotton paper - and check out how gorgeous this edge painting looks!  We can't wait to start handing these out!

We also received the hang tags for our packaging from a great Etsy seller.  The 100% recycled PCW paper for the tags was special ordered to go along with our eco-friendly bags and tissue paper.  We hand stamped our logo on 500 of these!

And the best part... we've started putting our products up on the shelves!  Here's a sneak peak!

Our shelving & furniture is done!

26 shelves, 3 tables, 4 bookcases, over 100 concrete anchors, and countless [can we talk about impossible?] Ikea instruction booklets later, we can finally say that our store furniture is completely installed!  We decided on black and white furnishings against the gray walls - our beautiful papers and cards will bring plenty of color.

Now we are ready to bring in our cards, gift wrap, notebooks, coasters, etc. - as well as our custom albums!  Speaking of which, this beautiful events album from Allie Munroe arrived - we cannot wait to share that awesomeness that's inside.  Stay tuned!

A package of these gorgeous greeting cards from Anemone Letterpress just arrived, and we could not be more excited!  The cards are offered in singles, and come with a complementary colored envelope.  They feature deep letterpress printing in bold colors on eco-friendly papers, and modern, super fun designs.

Page Stationery is here!

We are SO excited to announce that Page Stationery's custom albums have arrived!  The Windmill will be carrying Page's letterpress wedding, holiday, and baby announcement collections, as well as their amazing flat-printed stationery collection.  Here's just a small selection of this huge collection of designs:

The highlights: classic letterpress wedding designs for the traditional bride, duplexing and pockets (to get a layered effect with your invitations), digital printing (think adding a family photo to your holiday cards), and an astonishingly large selection of patterns for the back of your personal stationery (including a rugged fishing lure pattern - we're looking at you, South Florida fishermen!).
